Recollection of devlogs I never made up to this date
Hello! So... Never posted a devlog in my life but here we go:
-August 08 2022: The idea of the game started and created the project in UE 4.27
-September 2022: No progress, due to work and personal life, just throwing ideas to the wall and see what sticks
-October 2022: Started working on the first level prototype, delayed development again due to work schedule
-November 05 2022: First level and general game idea is more clear and applied the "Death by Fall" mechanic with UI and sound effects for respawning checkpoints
-November 08 2022: Fisrt maze inside level 1 is completed and first prototype of teleporters is implemented
-November 10 2022: Light Barriers and Keyes mechanics implemented
-November 23 2022: Coins pickups and end level widget showing coins collected implemented
-November 25 2022: First level complete with goal!! Started to work on a Main Menu level following the amazing tutorials of Matt Aspland
-November 29 2022: Added visual and audio effects for coins pickups, teleporters and level music
-December 01 2022: Created level 2
-December 02 2022: Refining level 2
-December 05 2022: Level 2 is more complicated than I thought, moving it to level 05 and started working on level 3
-December 06 2022: Level 3 is comleted and started working on level 4
-December 07 2022: Implemented "Faith Platforms" mechanic to level 4
-December 08 2022: Debugging Faith platform mechanics to reset the platforms every time the player dies
-December 09 2022: Debugging end level screen
-December 10 2022: Started working on the actual level 2
-December 11 2022: Level 2 is complete
-December 15 2022: Started designing Patrol Drones
-December 17 2022: Implemented patrol drones on level 5
-December 19 2022: Debugging patrol drones up until Dec 21
-December 23 2022: Patrol drones are working but will randomply push away the player and randomly kill the player
-December 24 2022: Debugging menus and adding an option to change mouse sensibility
-January 02 2022: Added a patrol drone to level 03 and debugging level 02
-January 03 2022: working on blender models to possibly add to the game
-January 06 2022: Debugging mechanics and levels
-January 07 2022: Started working on a tutorial level for the game
-January 10 2022: Debugging level progression
-January 12 2022: Level progression is finally working as it should!!!
-January 13 2022: Drone Insta Kill mechanic finally debugged and game packaged and uploaded
